Emanuel's designs are based on the combination of the classic traditional motifs, and the modern and Oriental. The base of the Chanukiah is made of nickel plated aluminum with hammer work and the nine branches of the Chanukiah are painted in anodized colours. The Chanukiah can be lit both with candles and with oil and can be cleaned by pouring boiling water to clean the wax.
